The ability to take that extra step, ensuring every horse receives the highly individual and specialised care needed to realise its full, but not always evident potential.
Located at Warwick Farm racecourse, Austin Racing Stables is a boutique-style training facility built around a hands-on and highly personalised approach to racehorse training.
Under the guidance of Jarrod, every horse in the stable is treated as an individual. Jarrod and his team firmly believe that in order for a horse to reach it’s full potential, it must first be happy, healthy, and thriving both mentally and physically.
At Austin Racing, no detail is overlooked. Each horse receives specialised care tailored to its individual needs - from training techniques through to feeding programs, personally designed and prepared by Jarrod himself. It is this commitment to understanding every horse as an individual, that has become a key ingredient in the stable’s success.
The care and wellbeing of the horses extends far beyond training hours. Austin Racing’s dedicated team takes enormous pride in the daily care of every horse, ensuring they receive constant attention, patience and affection. From early mornings in the stable to post-track recovery, and cared for at every stage of their preparation.
The welfare of our horses, both during and after their racing careers, remains a top priority. Every effort is made to ensure each horse is given the opportunity for a successful second career or a well deserved forever home once their time on the track is complete.
This dedication, patience, respect for the horse, and unwavering work ethic form the foundation of the Austin Racing philosophy. With a strong focus on horsemanship, attention to detail, and creating an environment where horses can thrive, Austin Racing continues to build a reputation for developing happy, sound and competitive racehorses.
Jarrod is supported by a passionate and experienced team of stable staff and track riders, who share his commitment to the care and development of the modern racehorse. The stable also works closely with a trusted network of veterinarians, farriers, and equine professionals, with whom Jarrod has built strong personal and professional relationships throughout his career.
At Austin Racing, owners are welcomed as part of the team. We understand the importance of communication and pride ourselves on providing regular updates, transparency, and an enjoyable ownership experience both on and off the track. Whether it’s race day, morning track work, or a stable visit, we believe in sharing the journey with our owners every step of the way.
Together with our committed team, we invite you to experience the Austin Racing difference. We pride ourselves on providing owners with the same level of personal attention and care that we give to every horse in our stable.
