We were very lucky to secure lot 343; Best Of Bordeaux x Magic Gold, from the Adelaide Magic Millions sale.
This athletic filly caught our eye from the moment we saw her. A strong, well-balanced type with plenty of quality, she has an excellent action and moves with purpose and ease.
By BEST OF BORDEAUX, a dual Group-winning 2YO who was described as a better 2YO than his sire SNITZEL, this filly boasts an exciting juvenile pedigree. Best Of Bordeaux was the first colt home in the G1 Golden Slipper, while his dam is a half-sister to Group 1 winner CASINO PRINCE.
She is out of MAGIC GOLD, by CONGRATS, and is a half-sister to HEART TESTA, adding further depth to an already appealing pedigree.
Now in the stable for her first full preparation, she has continued to impress Jarrod with her attitude, development and natural ability. She is showing all the attributes you want to see in a young racehorse — athleticism, balance, a good action and plenty of scope to progress.
With her physical development and pedigree, she looks very much a candidate for 2YO racing, and we’re excited to see how she continues to develop as she gets closer to the track.
